ANKLES & FEET
FRIDAY 24 MARCH 2023 7.00 - 9.00pm
This workshop provides an overview of ankle and foot anatomy and problems that come from overuse, injury, and normal wear and tear.
The average person has walked about 75,000 miles by age 50. Given how many moving parts there are, it's not surprising how vulnerable it is to injury or overuse.
With 28 bones, 30 joints, and more than 100 muscles, ligaments, and tendons, these structures work together to carry out two main functions: weight-bearing and propulsion (forward movement).
If your feet hurt, there are effective ways to ease the pain so come to the workshop and learn how to improve you feet and ankles.
HIPS

Each workshop will comprise of a series of Pilates based exercises to strengthen and stretch the appropriate areas with explanations given through anatomical images, and end with relaxation techniques and time for questions.
All information shared is sent to attendees to enable ongoing home practice.
