Core Muscle Strength:
Pilates exercises target the deep core muscles, including the transversus abdominis and multifidus, which support the spine.
Postural Alignment:
By emphasizing proper alignment, Pilates helps correct imbalances that often contribute to back pain.
Flexibility and Range of Motion:
Stretching and lengthening exercises in Pilates increase flexibility, particularly in the spine, hips, and hamstrings, which can reduce stiffness and pain.

The workshop is designed to be suitable for all levels tailoring exercises to accommodate beginners through to advanced participants, ensuring everyone can benefit and progress.

For the workshop, please wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion.
Bring a pair of socks if you prefer not to be barefoot.
All equipment is provided at the workshop however, you may want to bring your own mat for personal comfort. Please bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

FEES
£55 (£45 concessions)
Concessions are applicable for those over 67, under 18, in full time education or in receipt of benefits.
WORKSHOP NOTES
All attendees receive workshop notes. These notes can be purchased separately for £25.
CANCELLATIONS
If you are unable to attend a workshop as much notice as possible is requested so that your place may be offered. If this cancellation is given with less than 24 hours notice, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

There is unrestricted parking on site.
The nearest public transport stations are Grange Park, Winchmore Hill and Oakwood all with bus services to Highlands Village. ​​
There are disabled parking spaces directly outside the hall and disabled bathroom facilities on the ground floor.
Please note: workshops take place up a set of stairs on the 1st floor mezzanine level.​​​​
